Principal of the Year - Kisha Clemons

On October 19th, 2020, I got to hear from the awesome North Carolina Principal of the Year, Kisha Clemons. She was invited to give a presentation to education students at NC State University about how she works toward personalized learning at her school for her students at Shuford Elementary School. I love that Ms. Clemons and the teachers that work with her recognize that each student learns differently. Instead of approaching these differences as a problem, Ms. Clemons believes it is an asset that each student has different strengths. I hope that I work for a principal as wonderful as Ms. Clemons one day.
